AACTE Honors Outstanding Educators and Innovators as 2025 National Awardees

(Jan. 22, 2025, Washington, D.C.) –(Ӱ) is pleased to announce the 2025 recipients of its annual awards for innovative research, best practice, and exemplary leadership in educator preparation. Through a rigorous selection process carried out by the AACTE Standing Committees, theAACTE Awards Programhonors member institutions and individuals who have made bold, extraordinary, and innovative contributions to the field of educator preparation.

“The 2025 AACTE Awards Program winners exemplify the dedication, innovation, and excellence that drive meaningful progress in educator preparation,” said Cheryl Holcomb-McCoy, Ph.D., AACTE president and CEO. “Their achievements in research, practice, and advocacy for the educator preparation field reflect a shared commitment to strengthening the educator workforce and impacts the future of education for all learners in our nation.”

The honorees listed below will be formally recognized during the 2025 AACTE Annual Meeting from Feb. 21-23, 2025, in Long Beach, Calif.

Martin Haberman Outstanding Journal of Teacher Education (JTE) Article Award:
